This kettle will boil water and can keep warm at three different temperatures. Keep warm at 208 F; good for tea, instant coffee and other instant drinks, at 185F; energy saving and it is the default keep warm temperature setting, and 149 F; good for Japanese Green Tea or Baby Formula. It also comes with a Stand-by function for extended energy saving when you will not use the kettle for a long period of time, such as when you are asleep. Safety features include auto-lock to guard against accidental dispensing, auto-shut off when water is low. Made in China.
